1. Who is responsible for your data
Skynet Arujá Telecom LTDA, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 19.908.309/0001-02, located at Av. João Manoel, 1118, Sala 01, Arujá/SP, Brazil, is responsible for processing personal data on this website and through the service processes described here.
This notice covers browsing, support requests, account updates, offers, peering and electronic signatures available on the website. For other processing related to your telecommunications service, consult your contract and contact customer service (SAC).
2. Data used in each situation
- Browsing and security: IP address, date and time, browser information and access or error logs, to operate the website and investigate failures or unauthorized access.
- Support and offers: identification, contact details, address and information you provide to ask questions, check coverage or request an offer.
- Location updates: your Brazilian taxpayer number (CPF) and coordinates, to find your account and submit the update for staff review. Device location requires browser permission.
- Electronic contracts: identification of the parties, offer details, the document presented, code confirmation, date, time and technical signature records needed to document the agreement.
- Peering: organization, ASN, contact name and email, interconnection addresses and message, to verify contact details and assess the request. Unconfirmed requests are removed after one day; security and delivery logs may have separate retention periods.
- Restricted areas: credentials, session and authentication records to control access.
An AI may prepare a peering draft in a link. The form is filled in the browser and the fragment is removed from the address bar. Draft data is sent to Skynet only when you submit the form. Review it before submitting and do not share a link containing private information. Email confirmation is still required.
Do not send passwords, access codes or documents beyond what your request requires.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Offers and contracting involve steps you request and performance of a contract. Legally required records serve legal or regulatory obligations. Access protection and fraud prevention may involve legitimate interests, subject to an assessment of necessity and your rights. When processing relies on consent, its purpose must be explained and consent may be withdrawn.
These grounds are established in the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, in Portuguese).
4. Services and data sharing
Depending on the feature, support may involve hosting, security and communication providers and the subscriber management system. Account updates are checked in IXC. Location adjustment uses Google Maps.
The peering form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce abusive automated submissions. Verification involves technical browser signals and the IP address. See the Turnstile privacy notice.
WhatsApp, subscriber portals, digital services and speed tests lead to separate environments. Consult their privacy information too. International providers may process data outside Brazil; contact SAC for details about providers and safeguards applicable to your case.
5. Retention and protection
Retention depends on the data, purpose, contractual relationship and applicable legal periods. Completing a request does not immediately erase records that must be retained. Contact SAC for information about retention of your data.
The website uses access controls and audit logs in protected areas. Contact SAC if you suspect unauthorized access or receive a suspicious message in Skynet's name.
6. Your rights and how to make a request
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction and information about sharing and, where the LGPD provides, portability, objection, anonymization, blocking or deletion. You may also withdraw consent and challenge exclusively automated decisions affecting your interests.
Email sac@skynetaruja.com.br with the subject “Privacy request”. SAC will forward your request to the responsible team. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and avoid disclosing data to third parties.
You may also seek guidance or submit a petition to ANPD, Brazil's data protection authority.
